Bespoke all weather pergola off kitchen diner
BACKGROUND
Our client had completed their garden remodel but wanted to enhance the patio area to extend its usability throughout the year.
Access to the patio was from the kitchen diner via large bifold doors. The client didn’t want this room to be compromised by the new structure in terms of too much shading.
HOW WE MET THE BRIEF
Our bespoke automated B600S aluminium pergola met the brief perfectly. The B600S combines the best of both worlds: tiltable louvres which you can also slide open. Perfect if you want maximum light in your home during dark and cloudy days. Furthermore, it has S-shaped louvers that slide together very compactly: when fully opened, the louvers take up only 13% of the total surface.
Automated screens were added to the front and side aspects and four 1.5kW heaters extend the comfort level as the temperatures drop. Dimmable LED strips integrated in the louvres provide both subtle and functional lighting.
