Bridging Pergola – North Wales

BACKGROUND

Our client wanted to ‘bridge’ the gap between two existing buildings which also has a brick wall to the rear.

Keeping the full view out across the rear gardens was essential while at the same time reducing the strong winds that blow toward the seating area.

HOW WE MET THE BRIEF

Our bespoke sized double roofed B200XL pergola allowed the space to be covered exactly. Its motorised rotating louvered roof means shade/sunlight can be adjusted throughout the day.

White louvres ensured the space underneath was as bright as possible.

Individually designed , colour matched flashings to the buildings ensured the highest level of waterproofing was achieved.

Finally the addition of sliding glass panels creates a fully enclosed outdoor space. These panels can be slid to ‘stack’ behind each other to give the maximum opening. They give unhindered views whilst effectively blocking draughts.
